The Children of the Night
The last warm glow of the day fades as the coppery rim of the sun dips below the horizon. Stars glitter above a land cloaked in velvet shadows. A haze of wood smoke hangs in the cool night air. Inside, the steady light of lamps and the flickering brilliance of a fire on the hearth strive to push back the night.
The day has ended. Families gather to tell stories by the fire, sharing a hot meal before bed. Weary from the long day's labors, they welcome the siren song of peaceful slumber. But some do not sleep. For some, the day has just begun.
We are the Noxx, the shadow walkers, cavorters in the night. We were once day walkers like you, but we found ourselves changing into something more, something different. The night swallowed us, and we became her children. Now darkness is our plaything and the shadows are our home. Come play with us, if you dare.
Are you afraid of the dark?
